Dramaturgy

Welcome to the Waverly High School Theater Club blog for the fall play: "Twelfth Night: The Shakespeare Club."

This blog will offer background on the script, links to videos, information about rehearsals, and dramaturgy information.

What is dramaturgy? Wikipedia calls it the art of dramatic composition and the representation of the main elements of drama on the stage. Commonly, a dramaturg does research on the play and helps provide supporting information to actors and to directors that support the director's vision of the play.

We'll have a little bit of all of that here.
